Community Involvement
Martin Pringle, our lawyers, and our staff are actively involved in the Wichita and Kansas City communities. We volunteer our time, professional expertise, and financial resources to support numerous worthy causes and not-for-profit endeavors.
The firm has a standing tradition of making financial contributions to several charities each year in lieu of sending holiday gifts to our clients. Deserving organizations are nominated, selected, and assisted prior to the holidays. The firm donates to many other charities throughout the year as well. In past years, the firm has contributed to the Lord’s Diner, the Kansas Food Bank, the Wichita Children’s Home, and Arts Partners in Wichita; to SAFEHOME and Johnson County Developmental Supports in Kansas City; and to the YMCA, American Heart Association, and the Newspapers in Schools program.
Martin Pringle also has an active community service committee, which is composed of both staff members and attorneys. This group identifies local volunteer opportunities and organizes participation on a volunteer basis. The community service committee has recruited workers to help clean up the banks of the Arkansas River, build and repair housing for impoverished citizens, wrap gifts for needy children at Christmas, and collect school supplies for low-income children.
The lawyers and staff of Martin Pringle also support organizations dedicated to the arts, civic involvement, philanthropic endeavors, civil rights, faith, health issues, education, and other worthy causes that improve the communities in which we live and work. We serve on the governing boards, as officers, or as counsel to some of these organizations, and work as rank and file members of others.
