Lee Urban wanted to be a lawyer since he was selected as one of two high-school students to represent Kansas at the American Legion Boys Nation in 1998. He tried two federal jury trials, defended the state in nearly thirty civil rights actions, directed an undercover sting operation, testified before the Kansas legislature, and drafted consumer protection legislation.
