Meet Samantha

Samantha (Angell) Romey is a proud Kansan whose path has taken her from Hays to Albuquerque and back again, bringing her home to the people and communities she loves serving.

Raised in Hays, Kansas, Samantha attended the University of New Mexico before returning to Kansas to earn her law degree from Washburn University School of Law. She spent the next 22 years practicing law in Salina, KS, building a trusted reputation as an advocate, counselor, and problem-solver. Samantha's commitment to her community extended far beyond her legal practice. She served on numerous charitable and civic boards, including Salina Airport Authority, United Way, the Salina Area Chamber of Commerce, Theatre Salina, and the Salina Education Foundation. She also served as a Salina City Commissioner and later as Mayor, experiences that deepened her appreciation for public service and leadership.

After more than two decades in private practice, Samantha served as a law clerk for the United States District Court for the District of Kansas, gaining a unique perspective on the judicial process. She later returned to private practice, focusing on insurance defense litigation and employment law before joining Martin Pringle's Overland Park/Kansas City office.

Today, Samantha brings the perspective of a longtime attorney, former federal judicial law clerk, community leader, and public official to every matter she handles. She believes great legal representation starts with listening, preparation, and a genuine commitment to helping clients solve problems and move forward. 

Fun Fact

Samantha loves tennis so much that if she weren't practicing law, there's a good chance she'd be trying to organize her life around the next match, tournament, or court reservation.
