Voted most individualistic in high school, Trent Santer has always done things his way. Born in Brooklyn, New York, Trent grew up in Jamaica, Queens and the Greater Hartford area of Connecticut. Looking for new and different experiences, Trent ventured to West Virginia University where he earned a degree in political science. Trent’s interest in the law was piqued when, while at WVU, he was selected to participate in WVU College of Law’s Summer Law Institute. The Summer Law Institute proved to Trent that lawyers can make a positive difference in people’s lives, so he decided to go to law school. Trent returned to New York for law school, graduating from City University of New York (CUNY) School of Law, and began his legal career as a law clerk to the Honorable Neil N. Jasey of the New Jersey Superior Court. Trent then went on to be a Financial Intelligence Analyst at Citibank, ensuring the bank’s compliance with federal anti-money laundering statutes and regulations.
Life and love took Trent in a new direction when his fiancée took a job in Wichita. Trent joined Martin Pringle in 2019 and focuses his practice on business law, banking law, real estate law, estate planning, estate administration, entrepreneurial law and intellectual property law.
