As a Kansas native and former social worker, Elisabeth brings a client-focused perspective to her practice. Elisabeth received her Bachelor of Arts in Social Work from Eastern Mennonite University and her Master of Social Work from the University of Kansas. After receiving her degrees, she spent two years working as a community organizer in Elkhart, Indiana and Cochabamba, Bolivia where she learned the importance of communication, leadership, and building strong relationships in the community. Her passion for helping others led her back to Kansas where she attended Washburn University School of Law. While in law school, Elisabeth interned at both the United States District Court for the District of Kansas and for the Kansas Supreme Court. She clerked at Martin Pringle for two years prior to joining the firm.
Elisabeth focuses her practice on civil & commercial litigation, including products liability, employment law, construction law, insurance defense, and medical malpractice defense. She has successfully briefed and argued several motions to dismiss, resolving cases against her clients with skilled legal analysis and presentation. She has quickly gained experience managing litigation, taking depositions, and leading favorable mediation efforts for her clients.
Elisabeth spent over a year and a half traveling, studying, and working in Central and South America. On her most recent trip to South America, she traveled to Peru, Bolivia, Argentina, Paraguay, and Brazil.
